Traveling Gypsy Musicians

I really wasn’t sure what to expect when in our last conversation Gypsy told me that she was going for a ‘traveling gypsy musicians’ look. All I had was my overly active imagination to run wild with to give me some ideas as to what all this might in tale. I was excited to see what this trio had in store for our session. Our original plan was to shoot at a local farm but with rain looming above and their beautiful instruments in tow, we didn’t want to take any chances.  I have to say I absolutely love how the images turned out, especially with the Vintage backdrop from Drop it Modern.

This is one amazingly talented family. Gypsy has passed the gift of music to each of her children and she herself plays the accordion while Genevieve, who is 14, has been playing the violin since she was three and Ellory sings and composes his own music. It was wonderful listening to them play and sing! I told Genevieve that I’d love to have her playing in the studio all the time.

  1. Not quite sure, but I can only view 2 of what I’m guessing are 4 images posted, but the two (side-by-side) in the middle I do see of the boy looking up at you and then looking down at the vintage camera are beautiful!
