Evolution of a Resolution

I love the wonderful sense of optimistic determination that I always feel on the first Monday of the first month of the new year. I’ll admit that half way through the same said loved month I often have replaced those feeling with some version of self loathing and by the end of the same said month again replaced the guilty feelings with shear complacency. But all that really means to me is that there’s still some work to do with the details.

Can you tell I’m still in the optimistic stage? I am and I’m excited… Excited for endless possibilities and thrilled (and yet secretly slightly disheartened) to know that the only thing that could frustrate my resolve is me.

As I reflect on last year I’m overwhelmed by the growth of both Leah Remillet Photography and Go{4}Pro (my work with business mentoring for professional photographers). Last year was an incredible ride with ups and down and I have to admit that the fast paced climb often left me feeling unsettled as to my ability to try and keep a happy balance for our family and so this year my primary goal is as my favorite and most important roll of all… A mommy! One thing that I’ve really wanted to evolve is this blog, turning it into something much more wonderful and enjoyable for all of my incredible clients and future clients to check often and be inspired by. The best part of it is that it directly connects with my other great work (mommyhood) and so I’m excited to really jump into and work to create what I’ve been dreaming about for over a year now. I hope you will come back to the blog often so that you can be apart of all that is in store.

Last I want to sincerely thank you for your love and support. There was a time not that long past that I dreamed of being where I am today. It seemed so far out of reach and the incredible idea that my dreams have come true is owed to you. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart – thank you!

These little cuties happen to be my sweet nephews and niece, taken over the holiday.

  2. Hi Leah,

I can’t wait to see what you have in store next! I thoroughly enjoyed my mentoring session with you a few months ago and am slowly implementing some changes to help gain some of that balance of life and work. Thanks for continuing to be an inspiration!
