Being Seven is Heaven

I am such a sucker for that golden light that comes only twice a day.  In order to achieve the results that come from this particular light, I have 2 choices… I can either photograph real, real early or if we time it just right, I can get that golden hour right as the sun settles in for the evening. Personally I prefer the sunset to the sunrise and my clients seem pretty eager to agree with me. I’ve always thought it would sound cooler to be the sunrise kind of gal, but it’s time I came to grips with the fact that it’s just not me! I’ve maybe seen 2 sunrises in my whole life and as magnificent as they were, the truth is – they were quite by accident.

This beautiful golden light was captured just for my friend  ”B” and Oh! did we have fun in the process! With every portrait session there is always a new and creative challenge waiting for me, every single time I pick up my camera! I actually really like that about my job, I’m constantly getting to push myself and try something new… I really do love the challenge! This time though… There didn’t seem to be much challenge involved! The light, the location and especially “B” and his beautiful, sweet mama made this session simply blissful!
